This manual shows you how to use your WindsUpp World Wind Clock, including connecting to Wi-Fi and selecting a location. Read the manual carefully and follow all safety instructions

I. Quick Start Guide
Before you start: Insert 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Use reputable brand batteries to maximize the product's lifespan.
1. Get Wi-Fi settings and location code
Open the location link in a new browser window and look up your location code.
Find the password for your Wi-Fi network.
2. Turn on your World Wind Clock
Locate the “on/off button” on the back of the World Wind Clock.
Slide the power switch to “ON”. A GREEN LED light will turn on.
3. Search Wi-Fi network
Open the Wi-Fi settings of your mobile phone or computer.
Search for the "WindsUpp" network. This may take up to 90 seconds.
4. Open the setup page
Click on the "WindsUpp" network. The setup page will open automatically.
If the page does not open, type 192.168. 4.1 into your mobile or computer web browser and press enter.
5. Select your location
Click on “SELECT LOCATION” in the setup page.
Enter your location code and click “SAVE”.
Your location is set. Click “BACK”.
6. Save Wi-Fi settings
Click on “CONFIGURE WI-FI” and select your Wi-Fi Network.
Enter your Wi-Fi password and click “SAVE”.
The World Wind Clock will reboot and be ready for use.
II. How to use your World Wind Clock
Wind speed and direction
Wind speed is displayed on a scale of 0 - 60 knots.
The wind direction is shown on the compass rose. North is at 0°/360°. On the outer ring there is an indication line every 5°.
Live wind or wind forecast
Depending on your chosen location you will receive live wind conditions or a wind forecast. On the online map with locations there are two different symbols.
GREEN symbol:
You can choose between live wind updates, or a wind forecast for 3 hours ahead.
- For live updates, enter the location code (for example: 2001).
-
For the 3-hour forecast, enter location code +3 (for example: 2001+3).
BLUE symbol:
You can choose between the current wind forecast or the one from 3 hours ahead.
- For current forecast, enter location code. (example: 2001)
- For the 3-hour forecast, enter location code +3 (for example: 2001+3).
Important! The wind meters are not managed by WindsUpp. It is possible that a wind meter does not work. You can check the status of the wind meter on the locations page. If the wind meter does not work. Then find the nearest alternative.
Wind updates
Wind updates are location dependent and vary from every 5 minutes to several times per hour. Coverage, accuracy and update intervals are constantly improving. Add a wind meter yourself? Contact us to discuss the possibilities.
III. Change location
To select a different location, follow the next 4 steps.
1. Activate World Wind Clock.
Press and hold the Function Button on the back of the World Wind Clock for 6 seconds. A GREEN LED will turn on and stay lit.
2. Search for Wi-Fi network
Open the Wi-Fi settings of your mobile phone or computer.
Search for the "WindsUpp" network. This may take up to 90 seconds.
3. Open the setup page
Click on the "WindsUpp" network. The setup page will open automatically.
If the page does not open, type 192.168. 4.1 into your mobile or computer web browser and press enter.
4. Select your location
Click on “SELECT LOCATION” in the setup page.
Enter your location code and click “SAVE”.
Your location is set. Click “BACK”.
Click "RESTART" to reboot.
The World Wind Clock will restart and show the new location.
IV. Change Wi-Fi network
To connect to another Wi-Fi network, follow the next 4 steps.
1. Activate World Wind Clock.
Press and hold the Function Button on the back of the World Wind Clock for 6 seconds. A GREEN LED light turns on and stays lit.
2. Search for Wi-Fi network
Open the Wi-Fi settings of your mobile phone or computer.
Search for the "WindsUpp" network. This may take up to 90 seconds.
3. Open the setup page
Click on the "WindsUpp" network. The setup page will open automatically.
If the page does not open, type 192.168. 4.1 into your mobile or computer web browser and press enter.
4. Save Wi-Fi settings
Click on “CONFIGURE WI-FI” and select your Wi-Fi Network.
Enter your Wi-Fi password and click “SAVE”.
Click on "RESTART"
The World Wind Clock is restarting.
V. Batteries
- The World Wind Clock works for ±180 days on a set of batteries.
- The wind speed indicator points straight down when the battery is empty.
- You can always check the battery level on the setup page.
VI. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the World Wind Clock or other property. Read all safety information carefully before use.
- The World Wind Clock contains electronic components that may be damaged if dropped.
- Do not expose the World Wind Clock to liquids or temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.
- Do not open the World Wind Clock or attempt to repair it yourself. Unscrewing the back or taking it apart may cause damage or injury.
- To protect the life of the battery, do not store the device at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.

Waste Electronic Equipment Directive
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means that this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Electronic and electrical equipment that is not included in the selective sorting process is potentially dangerous to the environment and human health due to the presence of hazardous substances. Please dispose of it responsibly at an authorized waste or recycling facility.
